The Gallerie dell'Accademia is working to continuously improve accessibility, with the goal of ensuring full and free access to the museum spaces.
Barrier-free access is available from the right side of the museum, on Calle della Carità; inside there are elevators to reach the first floor and lifting platforms to overcome level differences between rooms.
Visitors with mobility difficulties are invited to consult the notices and check with museum staff for the most accessible route, as well as for updates on any temporary unavailability of some lifting platforms.
