The Gallerie dell'Accademia di Venezia forms the largest collection of Venetian paintings in the world.

Today, the collection of the Gallerie dell'Accademia is hosted in the stunning "Santa Maria della Carità" complex comprised of thechurch and its monastery, whose sixteenth-century section we owe to the genius of Palladio, as well as the Scuola Grande premises.

The 37 halls of the museum (13 on the ground floor and 24 on the first) offer visitors a unique journey through Venetian art from the fourteenth to the eighteenth century. Here you will find amazing world-class masterpieces, such as The Tempest by Giorgione, Pietà by Tiziano, The Cycle of the Stories of Saint Ursula by Carpaccio, and Feast in the House of Levi by Paolo Veronese, just to name a few.
