In the small, square vestibule that follows the Francesco Hayez room, you will find the bas relief depicting the Exorcism of a Possessed Man by Luigi Borro, a virtual dialogue with Hayez’s Destruction of the Temple of Jerusalem. This room also contains Borro’s Bust of Giovanni Bellini along with Rinaldo Rinaldi’s Bust of Titian, and Lorenzo Larese Moretti’s Bust of Sebastiano del Piombo. These marble portraits are a sort of Pantheon of the main exponents of Venice’s glorious school of painting.
