LANDSCAPES FIT FOR FOR A FRAMING

Like Mary Poppins we enter the paintings and once immersed in fantastic or realistic landscapes we observe whether what surrounds us serves as the background or the actual story: children are involved in the different ways of representing the landscape from pure setting of the narrated events to an autonomous genre, sniffing out the atmospheres and producing a paper to experiment with theories of drawing and the relationship between compositional elements.

THE GALLERIES... OF ANIMALS!

Let's immerse ourselves in a hunting trip through the halls to discover the animals hidden inside the artworks: nursery rhymes help us aim the animal to be found, the selected detail we need to create the fabulous being created by the children's imagination, to take away a fantastic classroom zoo.

WHAT A FUSS FOR A CANVAS!

Grandiose canvases tell us stories about famous people made even more incredible by the numerous details and particulars that artists have chosen to gift us with in order to narrate additional stories behind the story. We literally measure ourselves against these masterpieces, using our body as a unit of measurement, to compare ourselves to the technical difficulties encountered by the artists and to replicate the narrative painting on our own long "canvas".

COLOR, WHAT A PASSION!

In the halls of the Gallerie we are welcomed and enveloped by so many bright and magnificent colors. This activity deepens the coloristic aspect, not only emphasizing the peculiarity of Venetian art but introducing students to the painting technique and the fascinating world of pictorial colors by involving children in competitions and artistic tests.

Primary schools

A journey through the history of art, delving into the representation of the human figure through the paintings and sculptures in the Gallerie and confronting us with a wide sampling of "human types": who were those people? We attempt character identification through objects, coming to investigate their character, social rank and role. And then it's our turn! By reproducing expressions and poses we understand how a detail, an attribute, an element changes the appearance and meaning of the portrait.
